We feature in the Clacton Gazette telling the story of “Jaywick The Musical” and the free drama workshops supporting 11 to 17-year-olds through arts-focused activities which explore real-life issues such as bullying, drugs, alcohol and antisocial behaviour.
Project manager Kathy Austen says: “There are already lots of sport activities and youth clubs in the area, but there was a lack of drama and arts provision.”
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) for Essex has awarded the theatre company £6,800 through a crime and disorder reduction grant from the 2026 Community Safety Development Fund to support the latest project.
